Macron stressed, during a press conference in Nairobi, his adherence to this position, after an Iranian official warned of a decisive and immediate response to France and Britain if they deployed warships in the Strait, after an announcement from London and Paris in this regard.

Iranian Warning

Iran warned Britain and France that its armed forces would respond decisively and immediately to any warships sent to the Strait of Hormuz, and that After the two countries announced the deployment of ships in the region in preparation for carrying out a mission to protect navigation through it after the war.
Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Kazem Gharibabadi said in a post on the X platform: "We remind them that in times of war and peace, the Islamic Republic of Iran is the only one that can establish security in this strait, and will not allow any country to interfere in such matters."

London and Paris are working to lead a multinational mission to secure navigation in the Strait, and Britain announced on Saturday that it would deploy a destroyer in the region, while on Wednesday the French aircraft carrier Charles de Gaulle crossed the Suez Canal heading to the Gulf region.
