The Ministry of the Interior was strengthened in partnership with The Makkah Road Initiative, which is being implemented in its eighth year this year through (17) outlets in (10) countries, is an extension of the well-established approach taken by the wise leadership to care for the pilgrims of the Holy House of God and provide the best services to them.
It is supported "Mobile device" With data technologies and Artificial intelligence, to enable the concerned authorities to complete the procedures for the guests of God, especially the elderly and people with disabilities, in an automated and flexible manner, while verifying the integrity of travel documents and visas with high accuracy, ensuring an easy and safe experience from the moment of departure.
Technical development
The device allows capturing vital characteristics, taking a facial image, and reading travelers’ passport data in a record period not exceeding (40) seconds for each pilgrim, which reflects the level of technical development that national solutions have reached in accelerating procedures and improving performance efficiency in Outlets.
This step embodies the integration of efforts between the Ministry of Interior and…"Sdaya" To provide quality services to the guests of God, through innovative technical solutions by Saudi national hands, which contribute to saving time and effort, and enhance the quality of services provided, in order to achieve the goals of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 in advancing the pilgrim’s journey of faith in performing the fifth pillar of Islam.
