Kuwaiti artist, Bashar Al-Shatti, has ignited social networking sites during the past few hours, after he published a photo that brought him together with the Lebanese star, Maggie Bou Ghosn, from the scenes of preparations for the play “Al-Khiran Park”, which is scheduled to begin its performances in Kuwait on May 14th.

The picture alone did not raise controversy, but rather the comment that Al-Shatti attached to it, as he wrote: “To die 4 soon,” accompanying it with a cinematic symbol, which opened the door wide to speculation about the return of the famous series with a new part.

The audience quickly interacted with the post of Al-Shatti, who is responsible for the melodies and musical supervision of the play “Al-Khiran Park,” as comments poured in, asking whether the announcement was an official confirmation of the production of a fourth part of the “For Death” series, which achieved widespread success in its three seasons. Some went to analyze the image; As a clever hint from the makers; To prepare the audience for an upcoming surprise. While others saw it as just a joke, or excitement related to a theatrical work and nothing more.

But the controversy did not last long, as Maggie Bou Ghosn was quick to clarify the image and comment spontaneously, as she responded to Al-Shatti’s post, saying: The preparations for the new play are completely draining her time and effort, adding (in a cheerful spirit): “Frankly, I am working day and night… and I am dying until we show it,” thereby indirectly denying any relationship between the comment and the production of a new part of the series, and putting an end to the escalating interpretations.

Despite this clarification, talk about “For Death 4” has returned to the forefront again, especially after previous statements by Maggie Bou Ghosn, in which she revealed the existence of an actual intention; To produce a fourth part, but in a different format than the audience is accustomed to, she explained, during her appearance on the “Kalam Nawaem” program, that the producing company was not originally planning to present a new season, but the great public interaction with the fate of the two characters: “Sahar and Reem,” prompted it to reconsider the decision.

Bou Ghosn confirmed that the fourth part, if implemented, will not be a traditional drama of 30 episodes; Rather, it will take the form of limited episodes, closer to a special work, or “mini-series,” and it will not be shown within the Ramadan race, in a move that may reflect a new trend in the Arab drama industry towards short, intense productions.

The series “For Death” is one of the most prominent Arab dramas in recent years, as it achieved a remarkable audience presence, especially in its third season, which topped the “trend” across social media platforms. Its events revolved around the two characters: “Sahar and Reem,” who return to life after everyone thought they had died, which is the beginning of a new phase with different identities, before circumstances return them to their old world, full of dangers.

The third season was not just an extension of the previous parts; Rather, it carried different dramatic developments, with the introduction of new characters and renewed narrative lines. Which gave the work a more interesting and profound character. Behind the scenes of filming, Bou Ghosn talked about one of the most difficult scenes she faced, when she was asked to perform an “underwater swimming” scene, even though she was not good at it.

She explained that she felt afraid at first, but she decided to take on the challenge, so she learned to swim underwater in just one day, so that she could film the scene, as director Philip Asmar wanted, noting that the filming conditions were difficult; Because of the high waves.

Today, Maggie Bou Ghosn is experiencing a different experience, with her return to the stage, through a new work that carries a lyrical social comedy character. In this experience, Bou Ghosn is betting on regaining her direct interaction with the audience, through a live show that combines acting, showmanship, and singing, in an artistic combination that carries a different energy from her television dramatic works. It was keen to promote the work through its official accounts, as it re-published the advertising video for the play, and explained that the performances would begin in the atmosphere of the upcoming Eid al-Adha.
