A 5.1 magnitude earthquake strikes central Taiwan

The Taiwan Central Meteorological Administration said in a statement that the center of The earthquakeoccurred in Bole Town, Nantou Province, about 33.5 kilometers northeast of the building, and at a depth of 15.5 kilometers.

There were no reports of human or material losses as a result of the earthquake.
