المملكة: Assistant Minister of Health: 52,000 health practitioners and 25 new centers to serve pilgrims

Al-Abdali explained that more than 52 thousand health care practitioners and providers will participate this season in providing medical services to pilgrims, within an integrated system that works around the clock, indicating that the Ministry of Health this year strengthened its operational capabilities by adding 25 health care and pharmacy centers, in addition to expanding the number of precise medical services and specialties.

He pointed out that the health system has witnessed, in recent years, great leaps in the level of medical equipment, including the expansion of critical care and intensive care services, in addition to doubling the number of beds and specialized services provided to pilgrims, with the participation of several parties, including the security forces, the Ministry of National Guard, the Ministry of Defense, the private sector, and health centers.

He stressed that Hajj services are no longer limited to health centers and urgent care only, but rather include an advanced system of specialized services. Within medical facilities, such as catheterization services, advanced medical laboratories, and mobility vehicles for ambulatory care, in addition to the introduction of robotic surgery techniques and the use of modern digital solutions in providing health care.

He added that the medical supplies system has also witnessed a remarkable development, which includes transporting medical samples, blood, and supplies quickly and safely, in partnership with a number of specialized agencies, ensuring the continuity of medical services and raising the efficiency of responding to emergency cases.

Al-Abdulali spoke about the expansion of field health care paths in Al-Mashaer. Holy City, stressing that medical teams and health personnel are spread throughout vital locations to serve pilgrims directly, supported by an integrated ambulance fleet on the ground, in addition to ambulance transport aircraft that provide their services in various locations, which contributes to accelerating medical evacuation operations and the transfer of critical cases.

He indicated that the system also includes cooling points and field support centers that work in integration with various government agencies, including the Holy Capital Secretariat, to provide health, preventive and awareness services to pilgrims, within the framework of integration. Al-Abdulali concluded his speech by stressing that the leadership has harnessed all human and technical capabilities to serve the pilgrims, through an integrated health and security system that works in high harmony, including It guarantees the safety of the guests of God and enables them to perform their rituals with ease and reassurance.
