" Protecting the family from digital behaviors " Topic of a dialogue session organized by Abu Dhabi Police
ABU DHABI, 17th May / WAM / The Community Police Department at the Abu Dhabi Police General Headquarters, in cooperation with the Abu Dhabi Councils in the Office of Citizens and Community Affairs in the Presidential Office, organized a dialogue session entitled “Protecting the Family from Digital Behaviors and Promoting Community Cybersecurity,” in Majlis Al Shuwaib in Al Ain, in the presence of a number of residents of the region, community members, and members of “We Are All Police,” coinciding with the initiatives of the Year of the Family 2026, as part of its ongoing efforts to enhance preventive security and establish a culture Shared social responsibility.
The dialogue session highlighted technical development and enhancing security and cyber awareness in the face of digital challenges and risks.
Captain Muhammad Ali Al-Saadi from the Criminal Investigation and Investigation Department – Al Ain Region touched on the role of the family regarding digital behaviors and enhancing societal cybersecurity and the importance of raising awareness of the dangers of cybercrime and introducing modern cybercriminal methods, in addition to the necessity of following up on children through the application of electronic monitoring and raising awareness about the safe use of technology and ways to protect against it.
Captain Mohammed Obaid Al Zaabi from the Security Information Department stressed the importance of educating community members about digital quality and using it positively, protecting data, avoiding circulating it with non-specialists, and not publishing it, and the necessity of reporting any electronic fraud attempt through “Aman,” or providing security information that contributes to protecting society and preventing crime via phone call 8002626 and text messages to 2828 or via the Abu Dhabi Police General Headquarters website.
