Jordan condemns the sinful targeting of the vicinity of the Barakah Nuclear Power Plant
Amman, 17 May / WAM / Jordan today condemned the sinful targeting of an electric generator outside the inner perimeter of the Barakah Nuclear Power Plant in the Al Dhafra region in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi with a drone, and considered it a blatant violation of the sovereignty of the United Arab Emirates and a threat to its security, stability and territorial integrity, and a flagrant violation of international law and the Charter of the United Nations.
In a statement broadcast by the Jordanian News Agency (Petra), the Jordanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriate Affairs affirmed Jordan’s absolute solidarity with the United Arab Emirates and its support in all the steps it takes to protect its sovereignty, security, and the safety of its citizens and residents.
