المملكة: He won 24 awards… a huge reception for the science and engineering team after his participation in "ISEF 2026"

The Deputy Minister of Education for General Education received Dr. Saad bin Awad Al-Harbi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the King Abdulaziz and His Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity "Talent" D. Abdulaziz Al-Anqari, and a number of leaders of the Ministry of Education"talent"students The Saudi Science and Engineering Team upon their return to the homeland via King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, after their distinguished participation in the Regeneron International Science and Engineering Fair "ISEF 2026" Which was held in the United States of America.
The Deputy Minister of Education stressed that this achievement comes as an extension of the great support given by the wise leadership – may God support it – to the education, talent and innovation sector, and its continuous keenness to empower students, invest in their abilities, and create a stimulating environment that contributes to the development of their skills and enhances the Kingdom’s presence and leadership in international scientific forums, in line with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.
Al-Harbi congratulated the winning students. And their families and teachers with this distinction, praising the qualitative scientific projects they presented in which they competed with an elite group of innovators from various countries of the world, stressing that what was achieved reflects the capabilities and talents possessed by the sons and daughters of the nation that contribute to building a prosperous future based on science, technology and innovation.
A new national achievement
The members of the Saudi team, which includes 40 male and female students, received a warm reception after they were crowned with achieving 24 international awards at the exhibition "ISEF 2026"including 12 major awards and 12 special awards.
In addition to achieving first place globally in the field of computational biology and informatics, in a new national achievement that reflects the excellence of the sons and daughters of the Kingdom in the largest global forum for research and innovative projects for public education students, and enhances the Kingdom’s position in the fields of science and innovation at the international level.
