Abu Dhabi Technical Training Center enhances students’ skills for future professions in "2026 competition"

ABU DHABI, 19th May / WAM / Fahr Ali Al Suwaidi, Director of Project Management at the Abu Dhabi Technical and Vocational Training Center, confirmed that the Center’s participation in the National Skills Competition 2026 this year focuses on preparing students for future professions and enhancing their technical skills through modern and interactive teaching methods.

Al-Suwaidi said that the center offers, within the “Future Makers” platform, educational programs based on games and interactive applications to teach visitors and students various technical skills, noting that the platform allows students to learn the skills of electrical connections and car maintenance in an innovative way that combines education and entertainment.

He explained that the center introduced modern teaching methods into the training curricula with the aim of developing students’ capabilities and keeping pace with the rapid technological transformations, pointing to the focus this year on unmanned aerial vehicles (Drone) technologies, where students learn how to install the drone, program it according to the required tasks, then operate it and control it.

He added that the programs target eleventh and twelfth grade students with the aim of instilling technical skills in them at an early age, which contributes to preparing national cadres capable of supporting the development process and serving the future sectors of the country.
