المملكة: Hajj season.. Scouts enhance their services to the pilgrims with an integrated technical system
Public service camps held by the Scouting Saudi Arabia in Makkah and Holy Feelings Carrying out field survey work as part of the preparation stages for the mission of guiding pilgrims during Hajj season, with the participation of boys, youth and scout leaders.
Scout units are deployed morning and evening in various holy sites, to monitor routes and camps and update data and guide sites, according to a field plan aimed at facilitating the movement of pilgrims and raising the efficiency of guide work during the days of Hajj.
Electronic application
The scout units carry out survey work through an integrated technical system that includes tracking locations and identifying guide points, by taking advantage of an electronic application that is used as an alternative to maps. Paper, which contributes to enhancing the accuracy of guidance and speed of access to sites within the holy sites.
These efforts come within an integrated national system that works in partnership with the relevant authorities, to provide easy and safe services to the guests of God, in a way that reflects the voluntary and humanitarian role that the Saudi Scouts undertake annually in serving the pilgrims.
