"Narvaez" Leading Emirates Cycling to its fourth victory in the Giro d’Italia

Rome, May 21 / WAM / Ecuadorian Jonathan Narvaez continued his brilliance in the current edition of the Giro d’Italia 2026, after giving the Emirates Team –

Narvaez was able to win the stage after a strong attacking performance, as he caught up with the main escape group after an arduous chase, before in the final sprint he overtook the Spaniard Enrique Mas, a Movistar team rider, to cross the finish line in a time of 4:33:43 hours, while Diego Olise came third, 11 seconds behind.

In the overall standings of the race, Portuguese Afonso Eulaleu maintained the pink jersey with a total time of 44:17:41 hours, 27 seconds ahead of Danish Jonas Wengegaard, while Dutchman Timon Arensman came third, one minute and 57 seconds behind.
