المملكة: Commander of the Special Emergency Forces: Our plans for Hajj are proactive and integrated… and we implemented 48 field hypotheses to increase readiness

It aims to enable the guests of God to perform their rituals safely, securely, conveniently and easily, in implementation of the directives of the wise leadership and with the support of the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and His Highness the Crown Prince – may God protect them -.

Al-Omari explained that the general plan for Hajj security, issued by His Royal Highness the Minister of the Interior, specified the tasks and responsibilities for all security agencies. And services, and executive plans emerged from the Presidency of State Security to organize the work of the participating sectors, including the Special Emergency Forces.
He indicated that the plans implemented by the Special Emergency Forces are characterized by integration, proactiveness and flexibility, noting that they work within a unified security system in coordination with the various agencies participating in the Hajj, with the aim of achieving security and safety of pilgrims and facilitating the performance of the ritual.
He pointed to the implementation of a large number of joint hypotheses and exercises with the security and service agencies. Participation, pointing out that the Special Emergency Forces have so far carried out 48 field missions related to the nature of their specialized tasks, with the aim of testing readiness, raising the efficiency of response, and dealing with various possible scenarios during the season.
Security plans for the Special Emergency Forces
He added that the security plans for the Special Emergency Forces begin from the arrival of pilgrims to the Kingdom until their departure, and include all locations where the guests of God are present, whether in Medina, Mecca, and the Holy Places. Al-Omari explained that the Special Emergency Forces are present in the Prophet’s Mosque through observation points and security axes, and also participate inside the Grand Mosque, specifically in the southern square, to organize and manage the movement of crowds, in addition to their deployment in the Holy Sites to carry out organizational and security tasks.
He stressed that the forces are working to control the security cordon and prevent the entry of violators and those without regular permits into the Holy Sites, in addition to their tasks in Nimra Mosque and Jabal Al-Rahma to manage crowds and organize Movement in locations with high densities.
Safety of the pilgrims
He also pointed to the deployment of forces in the central area and around the Grand Mosque in Mecca, and in Arafat, Muzdalifah, and the Jamarat facility, where a specialized operational force is responsible for managing the flows of pilgrims inside the Jamarat facility, from their entry until their exit, in order to ensure the smooth flow of movement and the safety of the pilgrims.
The commander of the Special Emergency Forces stressed the readiness of the forces to intervene quickly and deal with any security developments. Or organizational, stressing that the security work in Hajj is based on integration between the various military, security and service sectors.
Al-Omari extended his thanks to all the security and military agencies, ministries and service agencies participating in the implementation of Hajj plans, praising the efforts made by the security personnel to serve the guests of God, praying to God to accept the pilgrims’ Hajj and to maintain the Kingdom’s security, stability and prosperity.
