Saif bin Zayed crowns Al Ain champion of the President’s Cup for the eighth time in its history
Abu Dhabi, May 22, WAM / His Highness Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, crowned Al Ain team champions of the His Highness the President’s Football Cup for the 2025-2026 season, after defeating Al Jazira, 4-1, in the final match that brought them together today at Mohammed bin Zayed Stadium.
The coronation ceremony was attended by His Excellency Sheikh Hamdan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, President of the Emirates Football Association, His Excellency Dr. Sultan bin Ahmed Al Jaber, Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology, and Mohammed Ibrahim Al Mahmoud, Member of the Board of Directors of Al Ain Sports Club, where the Al Jazira team was also crowned with second place medals.
The Al Ain team succeeded in winning the title for the eighth time in its history, and also completed the local double this season after being crowned last week with the ADNOC Professional Football League title.
