160 participants in the summer camp of the Fatima Bint Mubarak Academy for Women’s Sports

ABU DHABI, 29 JULY / WAM / The summer camp activities of the Fatima Bint Mubarak Academy for Women’s Sports continue, for the third year in a row, and are held during the period from July 13 to August 6 at its headquarters in Abu Dhabi, under the slogan “We Discover Talents,” with the participation of more than 160 participants.
Abdullah Al Tamimi, representative of the Fatima Bint Mubarak Women’s Sports Academy, confirmed that the summer camp, which includes a variety of activities, has been equipped to suit all age groups, in addition to introducing the game of bowling, and providing workshops to teach the basics of the game and develop the skills of male and female participants, pointing out that sports classes and cultural activities are provided by specialized trainers.
He stated that the camp provides comprehensive medical services, in addition to awareness-raising workshops for children in partnership with government agencies, to ensure that children fully benefit from all aspects of the summer program.
He pointed out the provision of external facilities at the academy’s headquarters, such as a running track next to the football and padel fields, to encourage women to practice sports in an integrated sports environment and to support their continued participation in physical activities in conjunction with the “Year of the Family” 2026.
He pointed to the recent opening of the Fatima Bint Mubarak Sports Academy library, which confirms the academy’s commitment to promoting culture and sports for women, spreading the culture of reading and continuous learning, enhancing cognitive awareness among members of society of all age groups, providing a supportive platform for building a more knowledgeable society, and consolidating the values of national identity.
