Ivic: Al Ain is the best this season and the motivational messages made the difference

Abu Dhabi, May 23 / WAM / Al Ain coach, Serbian Vladimir Ivic, confirmed that his team deserved to be crowned champion of the His Highness the President of the UAE Football Cup, after his players presented an outstanding performance throughout the final match against Al Jazira.

Ivic said that Al Ain was the better team from beginning to end, pointing out that the players proved once again that they are the best team in Emirati football this season, after their success in achieving the local double by winning the ADNOC Professional League and Cup titles.

The Al Ain coach revealed the motivational messages the team received after clinching the ADNOC Professional League title from senior management, which gave the team additional motivation to achieve the achievement.

For his part, Moroccan Sofiane Rahimi, Al Ain player, expressed his great happiness at the coronation, stressing that winning a title that the club has missed for years carries special value.

Rahimi said that the feeling of winning the cup is indescribable, and that achieving the championship was not an easy matter, thanking the coach and the technical and administrative staff for the great work since the beginning of the preparatory camp, which contributed to the team reaching this stage.

He added that the players appeared in the best physical condition during the final match, thanking everyone who contributed to this achievement, especially the club management, stressing that the coronation reflects the great status of Al Ain Club and its constant ambition to compete for titles.
