The Center called on the pilgrims to avoid direct exposure to the sun’s rays, and to stay away from open places as much as possible, while being careful to stay in shaded or closed locations, and to strictly adhere to the instructions and guidelines of the concerned authorities in order to preserve their safety and health during the performance of Hajj rituals.

For his part, the official spokesman for the National Center of Meteorology, Hussein bin Muhammad Al-Qahtani, explained that the center continues to monitor the weather situation and weather phenomena in the holy sites around the clock using the latest technologies and radars, stressing that high temperatures and low humidity require greater awareness and commitment to preventive guidelines, especially during peak periods, which contributes to reducing cases of heat stress and preserving the safety of pilgrims.This alert comes within the framework of efforts The continuous efforts made by the National Center of Meteorology to provide accurate and real-time weather information contribute to supporting the plans of government and service agencies participating in Hajj, ensuring the safety of the pilgrims and providing them with a safe and reassuring atmosphere in line with the objectives of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.
