Distributed by National Water, on the first day of Tashreeq (the eleventh of Dhul-Hijjah) in the Holy City of Mecca and the Holy Sites, quantities of water amounted to 829,229 cubic meters.
The company was also able to treat more than 610 thousand cubic meters of water coming into the two environmental treatment plants in “Haddah” and “Arnah”, as part of its operational plan for Hajj season 1447 AH.
High efficiency
The company confirmed the stability of all operational and field conditions; Pumping and distribution operations did not witness any significant interruptions, and operations are carried out with high efficiency through extended water networks with a length of more than 5,700 linear kilometers, corresponding to more than 4,000 linear kilometers for environmental services networks, while ensuring the continuity of pumping safe water around the clock without interruption to the networks of the holy sites and the facilities of the Holy Mosque of Mecca and the surrounding squares.
In the context of quality and health safety, the company stated that it continues to apply the highest quality standards for the water provided to guests.
