FIFA awards the Egyptian Federation the World Cup shield

The President of the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA), Gianni Infantino, awarded the President of the Egyptian Football Association, Engineer Hani Abu Rida, the shield for the 2026 World Cup, and a ticket to participate in the tournament, within the framework of the protocol followed for all teams participating in the World Cup.
In turn, Abu Rida was keen to give Infantino a memorial statue of Tutankhamun and an Egyptian national team shirt, on the sidelines of the Egypt-Belgium match, which ended in a positive 1-1 draw in the first round of Group 7 matches in the World Cup.
