" Within a suite "Emirati House"..trends" Participates in the 2026 Beijing International Book Fair

Abu Dhabi, June 18, 2026 – Trends Research and Consulting, affiliated with the Trends Group, is participating in the 32nd session of the Beijing International Book Fair 2026, under the umbrella of the UAE Pavilion, “Emirati House”, which is the guest of honor for this edition, held under the slogan “Society and People” at the Chinese National Convention Center.
This participation embodies Trends’ approach to expanding its intellectual presence on the international scene and strengthening its knowledge partnerships with major international research and academic institutions, in an effort to build sustainable bridges for cultural exchange between peoples.
Lead researcher Abdulaziz Al Shehhi, Deputy Director General of Trends for Research and Consulting and head of the delegation to Beijing, confirmed that China represents a pivotal strategic pillar within Trends’ directions and knowledge projects, pointing to its ancient cultural heritage and academic institutions of international weight and influence.
He said that the presence of Trends at the Beijing International Book Fair, under the umbrella of the Emirati House, which is supervised by the UAE Embassy in Beijing, stems from a real cognitive keenness to read and analyze global transformations and provide effective forward-looking visions.
He added that Trends is working to strengthen its partnerships with the most prominent Chinese and international think tanks, in a way that supports efforts to produce and disseminate knowledge, and opens promising horizons for digital transformation and knowledge management between the two countries.
Rawda Al Marzouqi, Head of the Distribution and Exhibitions Sector at Trends, reviewed the features of intellectual participation in this prominent international event, stressing that the Trends platform at the Emirati House will present to the Chinese and international audiences a diverse and rich bouquet of its research and knowledge output.
She pointed out that the platform includes the latest publications of “Trends Research and Consultations,” in addition to series of strategic, political, and economic studies, and the most prominent parts of the “Trends Encyclopedia on the Muslim Brotherhood,” which has received wide international attention and been translated into several languages.
Trends’ participation falls within the “Emirati House”, which includes more than 120 participants representing more than 20 federal and local entities and cultural and academic institutions. This House presents a vivid and comprehensive picture of the Emirati cultural and knowledge movement, to be a witness to a distinguished Emirati presence that combines the authenticity of identity and global cultural openness.
