Interactive athletics competitions in Abu Dhabi Summer Sports
Abu Dhabi, June 25 / WAM / The Abu Dhabi Athletics Club is participating in the “Abu Dhabi Sports Summer 2026” activities, currently being held at the ADNEC Center, until next August 23, with a group of interactive activities and competitions, with the aim of spreading the culture of playing the game, enhancing its community presence, attracting male and female players, and discovering promising talents.
His Excellency Khalid Rashid Al Zaabi, Chairman of the Club’s Board of Directors, said that the qualitative participation in the summer event, with the support of the Abu Dhabi Sports Council, comes within the framework of the strategy of expanding the base of game practitioners, introducing the club’s training programs, and consolidating the culture of sports, which contributes to preparing a new generation of athletes, to represent the country in the future in foreign tournaments.
He added that the interactive activities and competitions inspired by athletics and directed at children and young people on the club’s platform were welcomed by all age groups, with the aim of encouraging them to practice sports and enhancing awareness of the importance of physical activity, especially since participation is an important opportunity to introduce the game, communicate with members of the community, and discover sports talent and attract them to join the club.
