With 41.7 degrees Celsius… Germany recorded a new temperature record on Sunday

The authority told Agence France-Presse that a monitoring station in the area "Cochin" (Coschen), located near the Polish border in the eastern state of Brandenburg, recorded a temperature of 41.7 degrees Celsius around 4 p.m. local time (14:00 GMT).
