Kalba Sports and Cultural Club announces its readiness to launch "Our vacation is 2026"
Kalba, 2nd July, WAM / Kalba Sports and Cultural Club announced the completion of its preparations to launch the activities of the Sharjah Summer Sports Program “Our Holiday is Other” 2026.
This came during the technical meeting of the organizing committee headed by His Excellency Rashid Saeed bin Farish Al Kindi, Chairman of the Club’s Board of Directors, and in the presence of Abdullah Mohammed bin Huwaiden, Member of the Board of Directors, Director of the Community Cultural Events Department and Chairman of the Organizing Committee, along with members of the Committee.
The meeting approved the program’s operational plan, and reviewed the organizational and technical aspects and mechanisms for receiving participants, ensuring that events are implemented according to the highest standards of quality and safety, and in cooperation with strategic partners, to provide a safe and stimulating educational and entertainment environment.
The program includes four specialized weeks, starting with Family Week, which focuses on enhancing family cohesion and consolidating positive values, followed by Artificial Intelligence Week, which aims to develop innovation skills and explore modern technologies, then Sharjah Week, which introduces participants to the emirate’s history, heritage, and achievements, and concludes with Sports Week, which includes a package of tournaments, events, and sports activities aimed at establishing sports as a way of life, enhancing community sports culture, and developing team spirit, leadership, and self-confidence, in a manner appropriate to different age groups.
Abdullah Muhammad bin Huwaiden confirmed that this year the club aims to attract a larger number of participants, in line with the directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, and His Highness’s keenness to take care of children and invest their time during the summer vacation.
