Significant public turnout for events "Al Dhafra Summer" And honoring productive families in conjunction with "Family year"
Al Dhafra, 4th July / WAM / Al Dhafra Summer Festival, organized by the Al Dhafra Region Municipality, witnessed a remarkable turnout of families and visitors on the region’s beaches, providing an exceptional summer atmosphere that blended entertainment, heritage and culture, which contributed to strengthening family and community ties coinciding with the “Year of the Family”.
During the festival, the municipality was keen to honor a number of participating families, in appreciation of their active role in making the events successful and consolidating the values of cohesion and community participation, in a step that embodies the interest of the wise leadership in supporting the family and providing the elements for its success as it is the basic pillar and nucleus for building society.
The festival’s activities included a variety of heritage, entertainment and cultural activities that were designed to meet the aspirations and interests of different age groups and reflect the richness of the authentic Emirati heritage, in addition to the distinguished participation of a number of productive families who showcased their creativity of local products and craftsmanship, in a way that supports their projects and enhances their effective contribution to the process of community development.
During the festival days, the “Volunteer Hour” initiative was organized, which brought together visitors and volunteers in a community activity to distribute agricultural seedlings, with the aim of spreading environmental awareness and consolidating the culture of volunteer work and the values of giving and responsibility among all members of society.
