Dubai Digital Authority obtains five-star accreditation in institutional flexibility from a European organization

DUBAI, 6 JULY / WAM / The Dubai Digital Authority has obtained a new international accreditation after the European Organization for Excellence and Agility classified it as five stars in institutional flexibility and four stars in institutional agility, becoming the first government entity specialized in digital transformation in the region to obtain this classification in institutional flexibility, which reflects an advanced level of institutional maturity and readiness to deal with changes and enhance the sustainability of government performance.
The accreditation came after a comprehensive evaluation process that included leadership, governance, institutional culture, business continuity, the ability to respond to changes, as well as agility in decision-making and implementing initiatives in accordance with international best practices.
His Excellency Hamad Obaid Al Mansouri, Director General of Digital Dubai, stressed that this achievement reflects the success of Dubai’s approach in building a flexible government capable of continuing progress in various circumstances and changes, pointing out that institutional flexibility has become a strategic necessity in light of the great acceleration in technical, economic and geopolitical transformations, because of its role in strengthening the digital economy and consolidating community confidence.
He added that this accreditation embodies the vision of the wise leadership, which made readiness, proactiveness, and innovation essential pillars of government work. It also reflects the integrated efforts of work teams and partners in building an interconnected digital system capable of keeping pace with the future, stressing continued investment in developing a government digital structure that takes advantage of advanced technologies and artificial intelligence to provide more efficient and proactive human-centered services that enhance Dubai’s leadership in digital transformation.
Henk van Tolert, Director General of the European Organization for Excellence and Agility, said that the classification reflects a high level of institutional maturity and the ability to adapt, innovate and anticipate the future, stressing that the Dubai digital experience provided a successful model in transforming the concepts of flexibility and agility into applicable and measurable institutional practices and enhancing the exchange of experiences and best practices between institutions.
His Excellency Younis Al Nasser, CEO of the Dubai Data and Statistics Corporation in Digital Dubai, received the two certificates of international recognition on behalf of His Excellency Hamad Obaid Al Mansouri during the honoring ceremony held on this occasion.
