Sharjah Vintage Car Club launches the “Our Holiday is Not 2026” program

Sharjah, July 7 / WAM / The activities of the first week of the Sharjah Summer Sports Program “Our Vacation is Not 2026” kicked off today at the Sharjah Vintage Cars Club, which is organized in cooperation with the Sharjah Sports Council.
The program embodies the club’s approach towards investing in building a conscious and creative generation through an integrated system of educational and applied activities and workshops that combine knowledge and entertainment and introduce members to the history of old cars and their cultural and heritage value, in addition to developing personal and social skills and enhancing the values of cooperation, innovation and teamwork in a safe and stimulating environment that takes into account the needs of the various participating age groups.
In preparing the program for this year, the club relied on a continuous development methodology based on studying the results of previous sessions, analyzing performance indicators, and benefiting from the opinions of parents and members, in addition to making standard comparisons with a number of leading summer programs with the aim of developing the content and activities and raising the quality of the services provided in a way that keeps pace with the aspirations of the community and achieves the club’s goals in providing a more distinguished and influential summer experience.
Ahmed Saif bin Hanzal, Director of the Sharjah Vintage Car Museum, said that the turnout we witnessed this year exceeded the number of registered people for the targeted capacity, and this represents a clear indication of the success of the program in consolidating its presence year after year and reflects the confidence of parents in the quality programs and events provided by the Sharjah Vintage Car Club that combine education and entertainment and provide a safe and stimulating environment for their children. This confidence represents a great responsibility that drives us to continue developing, innovating, and upgrading the content of the program and its activities in a way that keeps pace with the aspirations of the community and meets the needs of the members.
He pointed out that the club is keen in each session to build on previous successes and benefit from accumulated experiences and development observations to ensure the provision of a renewed experience every year, pointing out that the program focuses on developing skills, enhancing the spirit of initiative, and consolidating the values of cooperation and belonging, in addition to introducing participants to the cultural heritage associated with old cars in modern and interactive ways.
The program includes a variety of interactive workshops, educational and entertaining activities that are designed to suit the interests of children and young people and contribute to developing their intellectual, creative and motor skills, in addition to introducing them to the world of old cars and the historical and cultural value they represent through practical experiences, applied activities, competitions and interactive events that enhance learning by doing and achieve a balance between interest and fun.
