The Council of Ministers confirmed that the Kingdom achieved first place globally in the 2026 Communications and Technology Development Index issued by the International Telecommunication Union; It represents a reflection of the continuous development in the infrastructure and regulatory environment that supports enhancing international leadership in the future of technology and artificial intelligence, in light of the accelerating growth of the Saudi digital economy, which has established its position as the largest market in the Middle East and North Africa region.
