The Lebanese President expresses his deep thanks and gratitude for the UAE’s decision to allow its citizens to travel to Lebanon

The President of the sisterly Lebanese Republic, Joseph Aoun, received, at the Presidential Palace in the capital, Beirut, the UAE Ambassador to the Lebanese Republic, Fahd Al Kaabi.

Al-Kaabi conveyed to the Lebanese President the greetings of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, may God protect him, and His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President of the UAE, Deputy Prime Minister and Head of the Presidential Office, and their wishes for the Lebanese Republic and its brotherly people continued progress and prosperity.

For his part, the President of the Lebanese Republic, Ambassador Al Kaabi, conveyed his greetings to His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, may God protect him, and His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President of the UAE, Deputy Prime Minister and Head of the Presidential Office, and his wishes for the government and people of the UAE for further development and growth.

During the meeting, developments in Lebanon and the region were highlighted, and ways to strengthen bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries in various fields were discussed.

For his part, Ambassador Fahd Al Kaabi stressed the UAE’s continued keenness to consolidate the bonds of joint cooperation and advance bilateral relations in a way that serves the common interests of the two brotherly countries, indicating that the UAE will continue to support the security, stability, sovereignty, and territorial integrity of Lebanon, and everything that achieves the aspirations of the brotherly Lebanese people for development and prosperity.
