ABU DHABI, 12 JULY / WAM / The Ministry of Justice won two global awards during the activities of the World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS) and the “AI for Good” Forum, which are organized by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) in partnership with United Nations organizations, in Geneva.

The Ministry won the “WSIS Champions 2026” award for the “Digital Agencies with Artificial Intelligence” project, which allows the issuance of 12 types of legal agencies completely electronically without human intervention, relying on artificial intelligence techniques, and within a few minutes.

The Ministry also won the “Innovate for Impact Award 2026” for the “Virtual Family Advisor with Artificial Intelligence” project, which provides community members with family consultations prepared by specialized family advisors and programmed based on artificial intelligence to speed up access to the service, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, with the ability to transfer to a family advisor directly upon request.

This achievement reflects the UAE’s leadership in employing artificial intelligence to develop judicial services, thus enhancing the efficiency of the justice system and achieving a sustainable impact that serves the rule of law.
