المملكة: Al-Budaiwi: The Houthi militia’s targeting of the southern region in Saudi Arabia is a terrorist act


The Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council, Jassim Mohammed Al-Budaiwi, expressed his condemnation and denunciation in the strongest terms of the ballistic missile terrorist attack carried out by Houthi militia and targeted The Southern Region of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, stressing that this cowardly attack represents a blatant violation of international law and international humanitarian law, and reflects this militia’s insistence on undermining security and stability and threatening the safety of civilians and facilities.

The Secretary-General stressed that the continuation of these terrorist attacks by the Houthi militia and its violation of all international laws and the ceasefire, requires a firm and deterrent international position that puts an end to the practices. The hostility it carries out, and ensures that the officials responsible for it are held accountable, in a way that contributes to protecting regional and international security and peace.

He stressed that the security of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is an integral part of the security of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, and that the Council stands united with the Kingdom in all the measures it takes to protect its security, stability, and the safety of its citizens and residents of its lands.
