المملكة: Friday weather: thunderstorms and active winds in parts of 7 regions

The active winds that stir up dirt and dust also continue to affect parts of those areas, as well as parts of the Eastern and Tabuk regions.

Red Sea

• Surface winds: northwesterly to westerly at a speed of 20-45 km/h over the northern and central part, and northwesterly to northerly at a speed of 15-35 km/h, reaching more than 50 km/h, with rain thunderclouds forming over the southern part.
• Wave height: from one to two and a half meters over the southern part. The northern and central parts range from half a meter to a meter and a half, reaching a height of more than two metres, with rainy thunderclouds forming over the southern part.
• Sea state: moderate to wavy waves over the northern and central parts, light to medium waves reaching wavy with rainy thunderclouds forming over the southern part.

Arabian Gulf

• Surface winds: northwesterly to northeasterly over the northern part and easterly to northeasterly over the central part. And the southerly at a speed of 13-28 km/hour.
• Wave height: from half a meter to one and a half metres.
• Sea state: light waves.
