Fares Khalaf Al Mazrouei: The day of the Union era embodies the sincere will that brought together the founding fathers
ABU DHABI, 17 JULY / WAM / His Excellency Fares Khalaf Al Mazrouei, Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Heritage Authority, said that the Era of the Union Day represents a precious national occasion in which we remember with pride the sincere will that brought together the founding fathers, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, may God rest his soul, and his brothers, the rulers of the Emirates, to lay the foundation on which the UAE was founded.
In his statement on this occasion, His Excellency stressed that the Union Day embodies the value of unity, which was and still is the source of our nation’s strength, and gives us a renewed opportunity to express our pride in the achievements the UAE has achieved in various fields, thanks to the wise vision of its wise leadership.
He added: “On this occasion, we renew our pledge of loyalty to our nation and our leadership, inspired by the path of the Founding Fathers, the values of loyalty, work, and giving, and affirming the continued contribution to the development process witnessed by our country.”
