المملكة: To secure their living conditions… exempting 3 categories from the current social security provisions – urgent
Agreed excluded three categories of beneficiaries transferred from prior to the current system, from the provisions of Article Nine, to ensure the continuation of support provided to them and to take into account their living conditions.
The government decision included who have no income, and people with disabilities who have no breadwinner.
The social security system
The exception also includes orphans with special circumstances who lack a breadwinner, and they are among those transferring from the canceled social security system issued by Royal Decree No. “M/45” of 1427 AH.
The decision clarified that the exception applies to the provision of paragraph “2” of Article Nine of the current social security system, and this system was issued according to the royal decree. No. “M/32” and the date of the fourth of Rabi’ al-Akhir of the year 1442 AH.
This legislative measure aims to ensure that these eligible groups continue to benefit from the provisions and benefits of social security.
Taking into account social conditions
The decision indicated that this contributes to taking into account their social conditions, and enhances the levels of protection and support provided to them.
A draft royal decree was prepared that includes the implementation of this legal exception in its form. Approved.
This comes in preparation for completing the necessary regulatory procedures for issuing the decree and putting it into actual implementation.
