"Make a wish" It cooperates with 46 schools in Abu Dhabi during the academic year
ABU DHABI, July 20, 2020 (WAM) – The “Make a Wish” Foundation announced its cooperation with more than 46 private schools in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi during the 2025-2026 academic year, which contributed to the fulfillment of 80 wishes for children facing serious diseases, in a humanitarian achievement that reflects the role of the school community in supporting children and their families.
This achievement was the result of a series of awareness-raising events and purposeful school activities organized by schools in cooperation with the Foundation, with the aim of supporting the fulfillment of wishes and enhancing students’ awareness of the values of giving, compassion and social responsibility.
The Foundation confirmed that the schools’ participation was not limited to supporting the fulfillment of wishes, but also contributed to spreading an influential humanitarian message among students, and introducing them to the positive impact that a wish can have on the life of a child facing a serious illness, by giving him hope, strength, and joy during the treatment journey.
These efforts are in line with the trends of the Year of the Family 2026 in the UAE, by promoting the values of cohesion, care and cooperation, and consolidating the role of schools, students and parents in supporting humanitarian and community initiatives.
Hani Al-Zubaidi, CEO of the Make a Wish Foundation, said that this support not only created moments of joy for the children and their families, but also contributed to instilling the values of giving and social responsibility in the students.
He added that every wish that comes true gives the child hope, strength and joy, and confirms that the cooperation of community institutions is capable of making a real impact in the lives of children and their families.
