المملكة: “Municipalities and Housing” intensifies oversight of group housing and calls for reporting violations

The Ministry of Municipalities and Housing confirmed the continuation of its monitoring campaigns on collective housing sites for individuals in the Kingdom, calling on the community to report Violationsvia the “Baladi” platform or the number 940 to ensure compliance with health requirements and public safety standards.
The Ministry explained that the reports received represent a channel of support for the work of Specialized teams to monitor violations and address them effectively. She indicated that these channels increase the efficiency of follow-up and enable authorities to intervene quickly and take the necessary legal measures.
She indicated that the speed of interaction with violating cases directly aims to preserve public health and safety. Pointing to the importance of these measures to reduce irregular practices that negatively affect the quality of residential neighborhoods.
Developing and organizing collective housing
The Ministry stated that organizing these sites falls within the efforts of the “National Program for Developing Group Housing for Individuals” in partnership with government agencies. The program aims to develop and organize the sector, and raise the quality of housing allocated for workers to provide a healthy and sustainable residential environment.
She said that these regulatory moves are consistent with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030, which aims to improve the quality of life and enhance the sustainability of cities. The Ministry stressed the continuation of joint coordination to raise The level of commitment to the regulations, in parallel with the intensification of field visits for oversight.
She called on community members to take advantage of official channels when monitoring any violation in group housing sites. Emphasizing that community awareness and effective communications contribute to accelerating the processing of observations and maintaining the quality of the residential environment.
