The UAE Ambassador presents his credentials to the President of Singapore
SINGAPORE, 21 JULY / WAM / His Excellency Dr. Abdel Nasser Al Shaali presented his credentials to His Excellency Tharman Shanmugratnam, President of the Republic of Singapore, as Ambassador of the UAE to Singapore, during the reception ceremony at the Presidential Residence in the Istana Palace.
His Excellency the Ambassador conveyed the greetings of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, “may God protect him,” His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, “may God protect him,” and His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister and Head of the Presidential Office, to His Excellency, and their wishes for his country and its people for further progress and prosperity.
For his part, His Excellency Shanmugratnam conveyed to His Excellency the Ambassador his greetings to His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, “may God protect him,” His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, “may God protect him,” and His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister and Head of the Presidential Office, and his wishes for the leadership, government and people of the UAE for further progress and prosperity.
His Excellency welcomed His Excellency Al-Shaali, wishing him success in his work tasks, stressing his country’s keenness to develop and strengthen bilateral relations in various fields that bring the two countries together, stressing his country’s readiness to provide all possible support to facilitate his tasks.
For his part, His Excellency expressed his pride in representing the United Arab Emirates in the Republic of Singapore, and his keenness to strengthen and activate bilateral relations in various fields in a way that contributes to strengthening the bonds of friendship between the two friendly countries and peoples.
During the meeting, bilateral relations were reviewed and ways of developing areas of cooperation between the United Arab Emirates and the Republic of Singapore in areas of mutual interest were discussed.
