Dubai Electricity Youth Council enhances the skills of future decision makers through the “Knowledge Challenge”

The Dubai Electricity and Water Authority Youth Council organized the “Knowledge Challenge” event, with the participation of more than 50 of the authority’s young employees, with the aim of developing their skills and enhancing their ability to think creatively and make decisions under pressure, in addition to honing their expertise in several fields, including effective communication, problem solving, leadership, decision-making, and enhancing team spirit and a culture of cooperation and integration.

The challenge included an interactive “competition room” experience, where participants cooperated to solve challenges in innovative ways within a specific time.
The head of the Authority’s Youth Council, Engineer Aisha Mohammed Al Rumaithi, said: “We support the Authority’s efforts to empower and qualify young people, raise their efficiency in the work environment, and develop their future skills, in a way that enhances their ability to compete, lead and excel, and contribute effectively to creating a sustainable future, to be the next generation of sustainability leaders.”

The activities organized by the Authority’s Youth Council are witnessing an increasing turnout, which reflects young people’s keenness to innovate, continuously learn, improve their performance, and their commitment to benefit from the opportunities provided by the Authority, enabling them to face current and future challenges with high efficiency and readiness.
