Dubai Police Academy hosts the third closing forum on Blockchain

DUBAI, July 25 / WAM / The Dubai Police Academy hosted the third closing forum on Blockchain, organized by the Dubai Blockchain Centre, with the participation of an elite group of government and academic leaders, experts and representatives of the financial and technical sectors, in a step that reflects the importance of strengthening scientific partnerships and anticipating the future of the digital economy and blockchain technologies.

During the forum sessions, the participants discussed the future of education in the new economy, and the importance of developing the education and scientific research system to keep pace with the accelerating digital transformations, in addition to strengthening partnerships between academic institutions, government agencies, and the private sector to prepare qualified national cadres who possess the knowledge and skills necessary to lead the future.

The sessions reviewed the future of asset tokenization and its role in supporting the digital economy, in addition to the most prominent regulatory challenges and promising opportunities provided by blockchain technologies and digital assets, and their implications for various vital sectors.

The forum witnessed the participation of more than 140 participants representing government agencies, regulatory bodies, universities, educational institutions, banks, investment companies, platforms for trading digital assets, and legal offices, reflecting the integration between various sectors in supporting innovation and anticipating the future of the digital economy.

The Academy’s hosting of the forum comes within the framework of its efforts to consolidate its position as an academic platform for scientific dialogue and knowledge exchange, and to strengthen strategic partnerships with various national and international institutions, in a way that supports national capacity building and keeps pace with future trends in the security, technical and economic fields.
