The UAE national team qualifies for the final of the Asian Youth Handball Championship
Quzhou – China, July 25, WAM / The UAE youth handball team qualified for the final of the 19th Asian Championship, currently being held in China, after defeating its Saudi counterpart, 31-30, in the semi-final match, which was held today, in the city of Quzhou.
The Saudi team ended the first half with a 16-15 lead.
In the second half, the UAE national team succeeded in turning the result in its favor, deciding the confrontation by one goal, and reaching the final match scheduled for Monday, where it will meet the South Korean national team, which in turn qualified after defeating the Bahrain national team with a score of 32-30.
Our team had qualified for the Youth World Cup finals scheduled to be held in July 2027 after advancing to the semi-finals.
