Crowning the winners of the Kalba Half Marathon

Today, Sunday, Sheikh Saeed bin Saqr bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Head of the Office of His Highness the Ruler in the city of Khor Fakkan, and Sheikh Haitham bin Saqr bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Head of the Office of His Highness the Ruler in the city of Kalba, crowned the winners of the fourth edition of the Kalba Half Marathon, which was held as part of the 53rd Union Day celebrations. On the Kalba Waterfront, the event organized by the Sharjah Sports Council was met with a large turnout and was successful with the participation of 605 male and female contestants. – Half Marathon “21.1 km” for the citizens: the first is Mubarak Hassan, the second is Suhail Al-Balushi, and the third is Saeed Muhammad, and for the female citizens, the first is Ruqaya Muhammad, the second is Noura Al-Khalaf, and the third is Khadija Al-Naqbi, and for the same distance in the open category for men, the first is Anwar Al-Quoz, the second is Danji Tesfu, and the third is Jimshua Tolosa. As for the women, Ruqaya won. The resident took first place, followed by Wafa Zeroual and third place: Helen Currie.

– 5 km for male citizens: first is Muhammad Ali, second is Salem Jamal and third is Muhammad Rashid, and for female citizens: first is Amani Salem, second is Hasina Jumaa and third is Sabiha Muhammad, and for the open category: first is Muhammad Riad, second is Samuel David and third is Asulal Abdul Qadir, and for women: first is Olga Shatskinkh, second is Ankita Sharma and third.
