Dr. Mahmoud Esmat, Minister of Electricity and Renewable Energy, joined by a number of ministers concerned with electricity affairs in the Arab world, opened the exhibition of electrical equipment for Egyptian companies, which was organized on the sidelines of the activities of the Arab Ministerial Conference for Electricity, which was hosted by the Ministry of Electricity and Renewable Energy over two days in the capital. Dr. Mahmoud Esmat stressed that there is a special interest that the state attaches to supporting Local industrialization and development of industries in various fields, especially the manufacture of electrical equipment, especially related to the new and renewable energy sector, as well as the sectors of production, transmission and distribution of electricity, and the localization of modern technology to achieve energy efficiency, reduce losses, and confront the phenomenon of Infringement on electrical current.
He referred to the industry localization program, increasing the contribution of national industry, and improving the competitiveness of products within the framework of the general direction of the state and the strategy of the Ministry of Electricity
