Al-Shabab launches the activities of the scout training camp for university mobiles and mobiles
The Ministry of Youth and Sports, through the Central Administration for Youth Development, launched the activities of the Scout Awareness Camp for Egyptian university scouts, hosted by the Abu Qir Youth City in Alexandria, within the framework of the presidential initiative “A New Beginning for Human Building.”
The Ministry stated – in a statement on Monday evening – that the camp aims to strengthen the role of the Scouting movement within Egyptian universities and develop young people’s scouting and life skills, in addition to enhancing loyalty and belonging to the homeland and instilling Values of peace and love among the participants.
The activities of the first day began with a flag salute, followed by an introductory session to get to know each other between the participants from various Egyptian universities and the Supervisory and Training Authority, which helped break down barriers and build The spirit of cooperation between the participating teams.
The events witnessed an awareness lecture presented by Commander Mohamed Zakaria – Commissioner of Private Training for the Egyptian Sea Scouts, in which he discussed The nature of the Scouting movement and its history locally, Arably and internationally, stressing the importance of the role of Scouting in promoting positive values among young people.
The second lecture was entitled "The Homeland is Honor" Presented by Dr. Ahmed Karkit – Leadership Development and Self-Development Consultant, it focused on educating young people about the dangers facing the nation, and how to confront them, especially by understanding the nature of fourth generation wars and targeting through social media platforms.

On the practical level, the male and female rangers participated in training scouting activities, which included setting up models for integrated camps that included camping and outdoor cooking, with the aim of training for outdoor life and developing skills. The training staff also inspected the teams’ work and praised their efforts, which enhanced team spirit and positive competition.
On the entertainment side, the participants witnessed artistic performances on the variety stage, in the presence of an elite group of artistic stars such as the artist Mounir Makram and the artist Abeer Farouk.
Comes This camp is part of the efforts of the Ministry of Youth and Sports to prepare and qualify university youth, and develop their leadership and social skills, to enhance their active role in society and consolidate national values.
