Closing of the event "Giving caravan" For community service in Ajman

Ajman, 3 December / WAM / The activities of the “Giving Caravan” community service initiative, organized by the Emirates Red Crescent Authority, concluded yesterday in Ajman, under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman and Chairman of the Executive Council, and was inaugurated by Sheikh Rashid bin Ammar bin Humaid. Al Nuaimi, Vice President of Ajman Sports Club, on November 28.
The initiative, which was held in Al Safia Park, aimed to provide humanitarian care to a number of societal segments in the Emirate of Ajman, and included a number of programs in the health, humanitarian, cultural, awareness and social fields, while the medical aspect included providing free health clinics to examine patients and visitors in a number of vital specialties. And distributing medical devices for diabetes and blood pressure patients, in addition to providing humanitarian aid to needy families.
His Excellency Rashid Mubarak Al Mansouri, Secretary-General of the Red Crescent Authority, confirmed in a statement during the launch of the initiative that it comes in the context of the Authority’s keenness to interact with developments on the local humanitarian scene, and its efforts to develop its programs to confront them and deal with them with great responsibility, pointing out that it added a dimension This is new to the Authority’s journey within the country, and has achieved a qualitative leap in the level of services directed to those targeted locally, especially in the health aspect, which the Authority gives top priority due to its importance and vitality in creating a society. A healthy person can achieve the desired development.
The initiative included setting up a special pavilion for productive families from vulnerable segments, to display their products, which are considered an additional source of income for them, helping them manage their lives and improve their economic and social conditions.
The “Giving Caravan” provided a number of humanitarian and community services to the public over the course of five days, including the health aspect, which included 20 clinics that provided their programs free of charge to the public, in addition to 20 government and private agencies that offered their services to the targeted people in various fields, in addition to 104 productive families for whom the Crescent Authority provided Al-Ahmar has outlets to display and sell its products, with the proceeds going back to help these families meet their requirements and improve their living conditions.
