المملكة: The Kingdom’s weather: cloudy skies interspersed with rainy thunderclouds and active winds

In its weather report today, Thursday, for the regions of the Kingdom, the National Center of Meteorology expects the sky to be partly cloudy to cloudy, interspersed with rainy thunderstorms accompanied by active winds in parts of the Jazan, Asir, and Al-Baha regions.
Likewise over the northern parts of the Eastern Region, and it is not unlikely that fog will form over parts of those areas as well as over the northern parts of the Riyadh region. The active winds that stir up dirt and dust also continue to affect parts of the center of the Kingdom.

Red Sea

Surface winds: North to northwesterly at a speed of 18-38 km/h in the northern and central parts, and south to southwesterly at a speed of 15-30 km/h, reaching more than 50 km/h with the formation of rainy thunderclouds in the southern part.

Wave height: from one meter to one and a half meters in the northern and central parts, and from half a meter to one and a half meters, reaching a height of more than two metres, with the formation of rainy thunderclouds in the southern part.

Sea condition: Light to medium waves reaching wavy with the formation of thunderstorm clouds over the southern part.

Arabian Gulf

Surface winds: northerly to northeasterly at a speed of 10-30 km/h.

Wave height: from half a meter to a meter.

Sea condition: light waves.
