The statistics showed that the number of volunteer hours amounted to 307,412 volunteer hours, in which the Authority established 3,502 volunteer opportunities that varied between providing emergency service to visitors to the House of God, pilgrims, and worshipers in the courtyards of the Holy Mosque of Mecca, in addition to social, sports, and health volunteer opportunities, in addition to national occasions, international days, and events. , and exhibitions.
Volunteer work
The Authority implemented a number of awareness campaigns in places with dense human population, in addition to participating in marine activities in the governorates of Jeddah, Al-Qunfudhah, and tourist areas in the Taif Governorate. The Authority’s volunteers, male and female, also implemented a number of courses in first aid to qualify male and female volunteers.
It stressed its keenness to benefit from all human cadres who wish to join volunteer work to advance the development process and achieve the aspirations of the wise leadership – may God support it – and it works to develop its male and female volunteers by organizing many specialized courses and qualifying them in accordance with the mission and work of the Authority.
The Saudi Red Crescent Authority in the Makkah Al-Mukarramah region stated that it provides many volunteer opportunities for community members in several fields. Including: health, humanitarian, sports, environmental and awareness, and the Authority is honored to attract volunteers from the residents of the Makkah Al-Mukarramah region, and to benefit from their efforts, energy and humanitarian giving.
