Counselor Shaaban Raafat Abdel Latif, Secretary of Central Legal Affairs for the Nation’s Future Party, said that President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi’s European tour comes at a very important time, and this is due to the geopolitical events the region is witnessing, in addition to President El-Sisi’s visit to Denmark. It is considered a historic visit, reflecting the depth of the relationship between Egypt and European countries.

 

The Secretary of Central Legal Affairs of the Mostaqbal Watan Party explained that this visit also aims to enhance cooperation. With European countries, the signing of the declaration of strategic partnership between Egypt and Denmark and a number of memorandums of understanding, and participation in economic activities, are evidence of the extreme success of Egyptian foreign policy, in light of the visit’s inclusion of a number of economic activities and meetings, and work to open new horizons for cooperation in economic fields. And politics between Egypt and European countries.  

 

Abdul Latif stressed that the visit aims to strengthen strategic partnerships in a way that serves the common interests between Egypt and a number of European countries, praising the number of meetings that President Sisi held with presidents And the kings and leaders of European countries, to discuss the opportunities available to enhance cooperation and coordinate positions regarding international issues and crises of common concern, saying: " These meetings confirmed Egypt’s pivotal and important role in the entire region.

 

The Secretary of Legal Affairs for the Mostaqbal Watan Party indicated that the visit is a new beginning for the return of negotiations in the Palestinian issue, and the return of stability to the region. In full, it shed light on the developments in the situations in Syria, Lebanon, and Gaza, and the situations in Russia and Ukraine and their impact on security, energy, and regional stability, while at the same time focusing on vital areas  Such as new and renewable energy, education, health, strengthening Egyptian-European relations in politics and economics, and enhancing cooperation in various fields.
