المملكة: Kingdom’s weather: Winds causing dust and dust in parts of 7 regions

The National Center of Meteorology expects, in its report on the weather conditions today, Wednesday, over the regions of the Kingdom, that surface winds will be active, stirring up dust and dust, which will limit the horizontal visibility in parts of the regions of Makkah Al-Mukarramah, Medina, and Tabuk.

It is not excluded that fog will form in parts of the regions of Jazan, Asir, Makkah Al-Mukarramah, and the Eastern Province.

Red Sea

Surface winds: northeasterly to northerly at a speed of 15-40 km/h in the northern and central parts.
Southeasterly to southwesterly at a speed of 15-40 km/h in the southern part.

Wave height: from one to two metres.

Sea state: moderate waves.

Arabian Gulf

Surface winds: northwesterly at a speed of 15-30 km/h in the northern part.
Northeast to east at a speed of 10-30 km/h in the southern part.

Wave height: from one meter to one and a half meters on the northern part.
From half a meter to one and a half meters on the southern part.

Sea condition: Moderate waves in the northern part and light to medium waves in the southern part.

Light to moderate fog

In its report on the weather conditions in the Kingdom today, Wednesday, the National Center of Meteorology warned of the spread of light to moderate fog over parts of 4 regions during the early morning hours, starting at 1 a.m. and continuing until 8 a.m.
The associated effects include a decrease in horizontal visibility (3-5) kilometers in areas of light fog, and almost a lack of horizontal visibility (1-3) kilometers in areas of moderate fog.

Eastern Region: Al Adeed.
Mecca: Jeddah, Shuaiba, Al-Qunfudhah, and Al-Layth.
Jazan: Al-Darb, Baysh, Al-Harth, Al-Daer, Al-Rayth, Al-Arda, Al-Eidabi, Fifa, and Haroub.
Asir: Al-Majaridah, Barq, Rijal Alma, Mahayil, Al-Barak, and Al-Qahma.

Raised dust

The National Center of Meteorology expects dust and dust to form in parts of 4 regions during the early morning hours, extending until the early hours of Wednesday morning.
Associated effects include active winds and a decrease in horizontal visibility (3-5) kilometers.

Places of raised dust

Mecca: Al-Jamoum, Khulais, Al-Kamil, Thuwal, Rabigh, and Al-Kamil.
Medina: Al-Mahd, Badr, and Wadi Al-Fara’.
Najran: Al-Kharkhir and Sharurah.
Tabuk: Al-Wajh and Umluj.
