Inside his detention facility, the former South Korean Defense Minister attempts suicide

South Korea’s Ministry of Justice announced on Wednesday that former Defense Minister Kim Young-hyun attempted suicide while in detention on charges of rebellion, but he is currently in stable condition.
She explained that Kim was found trying to hang himself with a rope he made by tying underwear together inside a bathroom in the Dongbu Seoul Detention Center east of the capital at 11:52 pm on Tuesday, shortly before the court issued a warrant for his arrest, according to Yonhap. .
The Ministry confirmed that a medical team was immediately sent to deal with him, and he is in a stable condition and is not suffering from anything, and is currently being detained in normal conditions.
