The start of World Ice Skating Day
The Egyptian Ice Skating Federation “Ice Skate Egypt” in coordination with the International Federation announced the organization of the “International World Ice Skating Day” A one-day international festival dedicated to figure skating, which is considered the first Winter Olympic sport in Egypt. This day is celebrated all over the world by presenting amazing performances from professional skaters and giving free lessons to beginners of all ages.
The event will be held in Egypt at the amusement park at the beginning of Sokhna Road, on Saturday, 12/14/2024, at 4 p.m. Dr. Heba Girgis, President of the Federation, also announced her happiness at nominating Egypt to participate in this international competition by the International Federation due to the remarkable progress they found in the sport of ice skating in Egypt.
It is due to This progress is due to the dedication of the Board of Directors of the Egyptian Federation to present Egypt in an honorable appearance before the whole world.
And awaiting the honor of many leaders in the field of sports and art under Supervised by Dr. Ashraf Sobhi, Egyptian Minister of Youth and Sports, and the Egyptian Olympic Committee.
