The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Immigration meets with the Minister of the International Relations Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China
Meet Dr. Badr Abdel Aty, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Immigration, on Friday, with "Liu Jianchao" Minister of the International Relations Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, on the sidelines of his bilateral visit to China.
Minister Abdel-Ati stressed the specificity of bilateral relations with China, and the importance of building On the momentum generated by the periodic presidential meetings, the most recent of which was the state visit conducted by His Excellency the President of the Republic to Beijing in May 2024 and participation as a guest of honor in the opening session of the tenth session of the Ministerial Meeting of the Arab/Chinese Cooperation Forum, In addition to other high-level visits and mutual partisan visits that reflect the depth of relations between the two friendly countries, and the vitality of mutual interactions at the partisan level.
On the level of economic cooperation, the Minister of Foreign Affairs appreciated Joint projects between the two sides, especially the participation of Chinese companies in building the financial and business district in the New Administrative Capital, and Chinese investments in the Suez Canal Economic Zone, indicating the Egyptian side’s keenness to transfer technology, localize industry in Egypt, and enhance investments in the fields The two ministers also exchanged views on the most prominent regional developments, as Minister Abdel-Aty reviewed the latest developments in the situation in the Middle East and their repercussions. The security and stability of the region, especially developments in Gaza and Egyptian efforts to achieve an immediate ceasefire, in addition to developments in Syria.
