15 tons of subsidized white and local flour were seized in ration campaigns within 24 hours
The Public Security Sector of the Ministry of Interior and the General Directorate of Supply and Trade Police, in coordination with the security directorates, continued their expanded ration campaigns to control ration crimes, which resulted in the seizure of 15 tons of white and subsidized local flour.
The campaign efforts – which were launched over a period of 24 hours – resulted in the seizure of a number of cases in the field of free and subsidized tourist bakeries, with seizures amounting to 15 tons of subsidized white and local flour.
This comes as a continuation of the efforts of the Ministry of Interior agencies to protect the consumer public, tighten control over markets, and confront attempts to manipulate bread prices and sell at higher prices. Scheduled and prices not announced.
